ARTIST & TEXTILE DESIGNER
My Story
Design has always been a natural extension of my two greatest passions: fashion and art. As a Senior Graphic Designer at Brighton, I’m fortunate to do what I love every day—creating the Gift With Purchase collection and other product lines, while supporting lead designers with prints and laser techniques. Each project is an opportunity to blend creativity with functionality, which is what I’ve always strived for in my work.
My journey into textile design wasn’t a straight path, but rather a fun adventure that began after I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. Starting my career as a women’s fashion designer, creating everything from runway bridal couture to rock climbing apparel. This versatility led me to work with incredible clients like Luly Yang Couture, Guess Inc., Gramicci, Echo, Johnny Was, Ultracor Nojo Baby & Kids and Macy’s.
It was during my time in New York, while working with Echo and Macy’s, that I discovered my true love for textile design. The world of prints, colors, and patterns pulled me in, and I quickly found myself learning from some of the best in the industry. My time at Macy’s also culminated in graduating from their Executive Development Program, a pivotal moment in my career.
From watercolor to hand-drawn illustration, I create original art that is seamlessly translated from concept to product. Whether transforming a watercolor painting into an all-over, 8-color print in full repeat for mass production, or designing a laser-cut handbag, my versatility spans across various mediums and techniques. My experience extends beyond print design; I’ve engineered designs for a wide range of applications, including clothing, accessories, and digital and laser printing techniques. A collaborative designer at heart, I thrive in team environments and take pride in tackling any project with a blend of creativity and technical expertise, ensuring every design is both artistically inspired and production-ready.
I’m also working on new watercolor art for Society6 and Etsy, and I’ll be sure to keep you updated once they’re live!
